Before Your Treatment
Pre-Care Tips:
- Avoid consuming alcohol for at least 24 hours before your appointment to reduce the risk of bleeding during your appointment.
- Avoid consuming caffeine for a minimum of 24 hours before your microblading appointment to prevent excessive skin sensitivity.
- Avoid suntanning the area being treated for 4 weeks prior to treatment. Sunburned skin cannot be treated. This is to avoid complications.
- Do not use self-tanning products for 2 weeks prior to treatment.
- Do not take blood-thinning medications, including aspirin or ibuprofen, for at least 24 hours before your appointment to reduce the risk of bleeding or bruising.
- Cannot treat if going through chemotherapy. Please wait 6 months post to get microblading done because like with any tattoo, there is risk of infection.
- No current Accutane use or less than1 year prior to treatment
- Tell your microblading professional if you have any allergies, especially allergies to numbing creams or other products.
- Do not wax or pluck your eyebrows for at least 2 weeks before your appointment to reduce skin irritation and ensure seamless results.
- Do not get any facial treatments, including chemical peels and laser treatments, for at least 2 weeks before you receive microblading.
- Regrettably, pregnant and nursing clients can’t be treated.
- Performed during your menstrual cycle may increase discomfort.
- Frequent smoker, the topical anesthetics used during the procedure will not last as long.
- Diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, be aware that. this may affect your sensitivity tolerance to the procedure.
