Before Your Treatment
Pre-Care Tips:
- Avoid applying lotions or oils to the treatment area on the day of your appointment.
- Allow the hair in the treatment area to grow ¼-½ inch long so that the wax can grasp it effectively during your appointment.
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning procedures and products for 24-48 hours before your appointment to avoid excessive skin irritation.
- One to two days before your appointment, gently exfoliate the area that will be waxed in order to remove dead skin cells and prevent ingrown hairs.
- Wash the treatment area thoroughly before your appointment in order to remove dirt, oil or bacteria.
- Do not consume caffeine or alcohol for at least a few hours before you attend your waxing appointment to avoid excessive skin sensitivity.
- If you are worried about being in pain after your waxing appointment, you can take a pain reliever such as ibuprofen or Tylenol about half an hour before your appointment.

frequently asked questions
If you are considering waxing, explore some of the questions clients ask us most often. We look forward to helping you get the elite services you need.
- Will waxing cause my hair to
grow back thicker?
No. By removing the hair from the root, waxing, over time, causes the hair to grow back thinner, not thicker.
- How many sessions will I
need?
Because waxing does not permanently remove hair, you will need to return regularly for follow-up appointments. Depending upon the area of your body that you are getting waxed, you will need to come back about every 2-5 weeks.
- What are the benefits of
waxing?
Waxing has a number of benefits. These include the following: Smooth skin, no risk of cuts from the procedure, no irritating stubble. And, when you use our experts and high-quality products, you also enjoy skin that is largely irritation-free.
- Where can I have waxing
done?
Waxing can be effective on many areas of the body, including the following: Legs, arms, bikini line, face, eyebrows, underarms, and more.
- Is waxing painful?
Waxing may cause some discomfort, depending upon where you are getting waxed. However, regular waxing can reduce the pain you experience. In addition, our team works hard to ensure your comfort and tolerance for every waxing procedure you receive. Following pre care is required.
- What can I expect from my
consultation?
At your consultation, our experts will evaluate your needs. We will then recommend an approach to waxing that caters to your specific needs.
